10th Enoch Seminar: “Enoch and Enochic Traditions
in the Early Modern Period: A Reception History,
From the 15th to the End of the 19th Centuries”

Chairs: Gabriele Boccaccini (University of Michigan) and Annette Reed (New York University)

Speakers include Ariel Hessayon, Professor of English; Tobias Churton, expert in exoteric traditions and freemasonry; Shelley Perlove, Professor of Art History, focusing on Fallen Angels in Christian art; Ted Ehro and Loren Stuckenbruck, focusing on the manuscript tradition; Florentina Badalanova Geller and Daniel Assefa, examining the Slavonic and Ethiopic traditions; and Shaul Magid on Jewish mysticism. The Seminar will also include responses by John Collins, Liv Ingebord Lied, Daniel Boyarin, Cecilia Wassen, Lorenzo Di Tommaso, Matthias Henze, and other Enoch specialists.
