The 55th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held in 1919.

The 33rd Annual Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held at Columbia University (New York, NY; December 28-29, 1897). For the first sixteen years (1880-1896) the SBL meeting were held semiannually (with the exception of 1890 and 1893). Starting with 1897 the SBL Meetings has been held annually.

The 3rd (Semiannual) Meeting of the “Society of Biblical Studies and Exegesis” (SBL) was held in the Library of Yale Divinity School (New Haven, CT; June 2-3, 1881). See Report in the Journal of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis 1.2 (Dec. 1881).

The 2nd (Semiannual) Meeting of the “Society of Biblical Studies and Exegesis” (SBL) was held in December 1880.

The 36th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held in December 1900.

The 40th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held in December 1904.

The 50th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held in December 1914.
