The 80th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held at the General Theological Seminary (New York, NY; December 28-29, 1944). See Report in Journal of Biblical Literature 64.1 (1945).

The 100th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) was held in December 1964.

The 60th Meeting of the Society of Biblical Literature and Exegesis (SBL) was held at the University of Chicago (Chicago, IL; December 29-30, 1924), in conjunction with the Chicago Society of Biblical Research. It was the first time that the SBL had a general meeting outside the New England. See Report in Journal of Biblical Literature 44.3-4 (1925) i-xviii.

The 8th Enoch Seminar will be held at Villa Cagnola, near Milan, Italy (21-26 June, 2015), chaired by Lorenzo DiTommaso and Daniel Boyarin.

The 1st Meeting of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS) was held in Utrecht, Netherlands on 6-9 August, 2000.

The 2001 SBL International Meeting was held in Rome, Italy on July 8-12, 2001 in conjunction with: ~ the 2nd Meeting of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS).

The 2002 SBL International Meeting was held in Berlin, Germany in conjunction with ~ the 3rd Meeting of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS).

The 2003 SBL International Meeting was held in Cambridge, England in July 2003, in conjunction with: ~ the 4th Meeting of the European Association of Biblical Studies (EABS).

The 1984 SBL International Meeting was held in Strasbourg, France.

The 1983 SBL International Meeting was held in Salamanca, Spain.
