Enochic Influences on the Synoptic Gospels

Camaldoli, 21 – 26 July 2013
Monastery of Camaldoli

Chair: Loren Stuckenbruck, University of Munich, Germany

Co-Chair: Gabriele Boccaccini

The aim of the Seventh Enoch Seminar is to give a literary analysis of the influences of Enochic literature and traditions on the Synoptic Gospels, including and beyond the issue of the Son of Man. As usual, all papers will circulate in advance and will not be read by the writers. The time given will be devoted primarily to discussion.

As participation is by invitation only, we invite all specialists who are interested to contact the chairs and the secretary Jason Zurawski (jasonzur@umich.edu) as soon as possible, at the latest by December 1, 2012.
