The 17th Congress of the International Organization for the Study of the Old Testament (IOSOT) was held in Basel, Switzerland in August 2001, in conjunction with the meetings of other professional organizations, including:

~ the 11th Meeting of the International Organization for Septuagint and Cognate Studies (IOSCS)

~ the 4th Meeting of the International Organization for Qumran Studies (IOQS) (August 5-7, 2001).
