Dear colleagues and friends,

You are warmly invited to attend, either in person or online, the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Enoch Seminar, which will take place as part of the public session of the 17th Nangeroni Meeting.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Waldensian Faculty of Theology, the Pontifical Biblical Institute, and the Cardinal Bea Centre for Judaic Studies.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, Piazza della Pilotta 35.

The theme of the session will be:

“The Religious and Theological Significance of the Enoch Literature: Past and Present”

The program will open with a keynote lecture by Loren T. Stuckenbruck. The session will be chaired by Luca Pedroli and will feature responses by:

James McGrath, Caterina Moro, Adriano Virgili, Emanuela Valeriani, Eric Noffke, Giulio Mariotti, Daniela Scialabba, and Daniele Minisini.

The concluding remarks will be delivered by Gabriele Boccaccini.
